Yeah I downloaded Firewalker yesterday but haven't touched it yet as I'm in the middle of my second playthrough of ME2.

I hear it's pretty good although short. I might have to jump right in check it out my self.

i'm on my last playthrough... i don't know if i'll get the new character...

i finally figured out the way to best enjoy this game...

do not use pause.

i used pause waaay too much and it was a crutch. just hotkey everything (although redoing your hotkeys when you change your party is a pain) and the action is so much more intense without constant pausing to use powers. also the default difficulty is way too easy. maybe i'm too old school but i don't mind dying a few times every hard fight or two.

most fun class out all the classes hands down is vanguard. at first i thought the class would be useless especially on insanity, but i honestly feel overpowered sometimes with this class.

Thought I'd post it here as to not turn the other thread in to another ME2 thread.

I got ME2 on Monday, and been playing it to death all week. Played through it with my first ME1 character, then went back to ME1 to do a renegade character and almost finished ME2 with that one.

When you finish the main campain on ME2 check out the DLC, especially Kasumi. I also noticed a new DLC release called Overload which I'll have to get

And to add the the main topic of this thread... I've never owned a console anything so I only know PC games. For me, the day the PC games die is the day I quit playing games.

Yea I bought all the DLC for it. Kasumi's a great character to have, as well as Zaeed. I've got the Overload DLC and it's a pretty nice addon to have.

I've just completed ME2 a second time as a Renegade, but still plan on doing several more run throughs of ME1 and ME2.

I did the Tali romance as well on this run through, and that's such a tease lol.

Depending how you played it, it's best to do Overlord before you get the IFF transponder/go through the Omega relay. If you did paragon and choose to ignore the Illusive Man, it's a bit strange to start doing another mission for him during Overlord...

I started another ME1 playthrough last night. What I love about it is everytime I've played through it (my 4th time now), I've found something totally new.

Since I've already did two playthoughs already, I'll just do the Overlord mission this time around. At a later date in time and do the entire game again with all the added DLC.

BTW did you also get the Equalizer Pack? It's an armor pack.... "The Equalizer -- when the armor goes on, the gloves come off."

Yea I got the Eqaulizer pack as well. The Inferno Armor is alright as it speeds up movement speeds, but the whole pack benefits biotics and tech characters mainly, which I don't use myself. I love the N7 armour, especially with some of the add-ons you can already buy in game. I just wish you could toggle the helmet like you could in ME1 and customise your teammates armour

Yeah that just annoys the hell out of me.

As for customization, yeah I kind of mss that myself. There was a large discussion about it at the Bioware forums when ME2 was first released. I wonder what ME3 will bring.

BTW I finally got round to installing OverLord so I'm off to check it out, along with the Equalizer Pack

OK, so I just finished the latest ME2 DLC – Overlord. Not bad at all, though I personally could do without some of the vehicle missions; although the one where you encounter the Geth gun was a bit fun… and frustrating until I figured out how to beat it. The Matrix level was cool but….

With that, favorite DLC in order are...

Kasumi – Stolen Memory (pay)
Overlord (pay)
Zaeed – The price of Vengeance (close second) (free)
Firewalker (meh…) (free)

BTW all these DLC’s are less than 3 hours . Would be nice to get something a little longer, especially If I have to pay for it.

This looks like it's going to be a good one,and one I'm looking forward to

I've still got to get through for the first time... I get into it, get distracted by other games and then put it on the back burner.

Although I have to agree that some of these DLC's could be longer. Kasumi and Zaeed were 'blink' it's done. Haven't done Overlord yet.

And it's been that long since I played the original, I forget that I've 'met' some of these characters before. it takes me a while to go, oh yeah, I remember you now. I think

Overlord is the best DLC at the moment. I liked the Zaeed and Kasumi ones because they were really cool guys to have on your team, especially Zaeed. My team usually consisted of him and Garrus.

And Bioware don't charge and arm and a leg for their DLC. I got the Zaeed DLC free with my copy, and yea the Kasumi DLC wasn't exactly long, but it was cheap at the same time. The Overlord DLC is pretty long, and it's a good price for it.

Zaeed

Though Overlord is a very close second to Kasumi. Hopefully Shadow Broker will top them all

I've not done the Liara relationship in ME1, so will go back and blast through ME1, and see what happens in ME2.

I only have the free DLC wfor ME2.

But Tuesday the Shadow Broker one comes out as well as Witch Hunt for Dragon Age.

So these 2 I will certainly be getting these 2 tommorow .


Ill likely get one more for ME2.
From the looks of things it seems like most are recommending Kasumi and Overlord.

Im guessing given the choice, Kasumi would be the better of the 2?
