I don't know the environment in overlord made the content. Didn't really get that sense in shadow broker. That one spot in overlord where you're stuck on that elevator with that twisted voice yelling at you and the elevator all out of control. Actually kind of reminded me of the original FEAR for setting a mood and tone. ...maybe I'll play shadow broker again... I doubt it'll change my mind though.

I just feel story wise and action wise Shadow Broker was better. The story definitely was compelling, and it did have plenty of action.

The thing I did like about Overlord was the Matrix moment - that was cool.

Anyways like I said we all have our opinions, It's cool that we're not bickering over them though

I just bought Mass Effect 2 at a 2nd hand store for $5 I just hope cd is in working condition... I really liked the Mass Effect 2 demo when I played it!

I just totally beat Arrival Minutes ago. I found it short,sweet and to the point. It was shaky at first, cus i had actually forgotten how to play . I just wanna know what they were thinking when they decided to hold Shephard captive, Its shephard! He has stopped the reapers in two separate occasions, he's borderline super hero. I also made my very first renegade action.

Should replay ME/ME2 with a dedicated renegade character. My first play through was paragon, then re-played with renegade and it's pretty fun watching the different outcomes. Especially such parts in ME2 like doing Thane's loyalty mission.

Yeah I think my second playthrough I'll be a bit more hardcore, maybe not full renegade but borderline.

I'd say paragon is more fun. But the two main chars I play is one full paragon and one full renegade.

There's been rumours of an ME movie for quite a while. Would be great if it was done well.

Enigmatic Mass Effect 2 patron the Illusive Man also returns, his Cerberus operation now tasked with killing Shepard. Why the Illusive Man has turned the tables on his former champion remains to be seen.

Think I'm gonna be locked away playing this for a few days when it's out, lol.

Don't know why people are so hot for multiplayer.
Played TF2 lately?
It's a hack and mod fest, the game has been ruined.

FUNimation is pretty good at animated movies so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah I didn't see that coming although at the end of ME2 when you get the choice to either save or destroy the Collector base I can see how the Illusive Man woould be pissed for not helping him. Outside of that I didn't see where things went south that he has to kill Shepard now.

Yeah I'm not into multiplayer so it doesn't bother me that it's not being added. Though it does sound like it's a business decision as they talking spinoffs of the game with multiplayer in mind. Half-Life's Counter Strike comes to mind.

Anyway as I said, I won't be missing multiplayer.

As for an ME movie almost all game based movies prove to stretch beyond their budget are filled with bad acting and cliche and for the large part haven't really interested me.

For ME to have the all encompassing story it would need to really carry weight it would have to be done on the kind of scale avatar or the lord of the rings trilogy were.
It would also require a trilogy just to cover the story of the first game properly.
I really don't see it happening.
Video games and anime both have a poor history of live action movies.

Though maybe a decently done cg ME movie might be okay.
It would need a heavy tone and darkness to it that I have probably seen in two cg movies ever.

Don't know why everyone considers cg mainly a kiddy movie medium when it's completely limitless.

Being that FUNimation is an animation studio you can be pretty sure it'll be CG. In fact.... Mass Effect - The Official Anime Website from FUNimation

BTW I actually like animie/CG movies and have a few myself including Dead Space 1 & 2.

funimation is censored reworked stuff for release to the english market.
Manga releases their stuff uncensored/edited, but they do far fewer releases overall.

Appleseed is a good CG/anime flick.
There's two of them must be seen in order though.
