Here in the UK those grills are always "on sale" at vast reductions to the advertised 'mugs' price.
Could we apply that to Nvidia grills (and does it come with a free nuclear power station)?

Here's some more information on the suggested PSU if you're going to be getting a 480.
PC Perspective - Looking at the higher end of the PSU wattage scale
btw, nvidia announced the GTX 580 this am, 580 cuda cores, due out later this year.
Yes it is.
As far as I'm concerned, if your looking for a good priced GPU, the Fermi cards are currently in the perfect range. Though that is easy enough to do when your opponent has set the field already. Now we just have to see if ATI reacts to the new challenger.
Sigh, I really hate it when this situation arises. 4-5 times in the past.. what 20 years now? (eesh) Since the DOS days this has come up where every now and then ATI has a much better price/performace solution than the nerest competitor and I am tempted byt it. And every time I "go for it" I am /always/ sorry. Maybe it's bad luck or maybe something else, but I always regret the descision and it's always due to a drastic reduction in system stability.I... just... can't... do... it... again!

What sort of goggles do you wear O wise wun? You could buy eg. a 40" LCD Tv for the same price as a poxy Nvidia Graphic card! Which represents better value?
