Sony vaio boot problem

Have Sony vaio e series.
It won't start
Disk read error
Cnt+Alt+det
Have back up DVD but it won't load and hangs on windows symbol.
Try to reboot from safe mode but
It also hangs.
Nd have windows 7 ISO on DVD but it also hangs on symbol
Pls need help.
