So I upgraded to 8.1 today. Everything works except the sound driver is not working and keeps giving me this error as in picture below. I even installed realtek sound driver with 64 bit and nothing got fixed. I use logitech z506 speakers.
Erkronos mate I think you would be better posting this in the 8 forum it within this forum group and a lot of us belong to it just register the same way you did for here
PS Have the same system myself very nice unit and pity you didn't have a desktop the Z506 works REAL well with an Asus Xonar DG sound card awesome effects but.......sorry can't help here mate plus you will get an answer quicker there
