Sound is laging/stucking at laptop.

Hello I've got this problem. I have a laptop computer and I remember then u have a "power saving " mode If you try play some game and listening to music you get a laging sound or Idk how to tell it. But if you turn "high power" it's perfect. Anyway now I am at "high power" but sound still is laging. Even if I just write in office and try to watch a video in youtube it does like that. I've got this problem then I tried to crack office, I later Uninstalled the program but didn't help. I even tried system restore but it failed to do it, ive gotten some kinda of error.
So anyone maybe know how to fix it? I really don't want to reinstall windows and I'm using W7.

if your audio is lagging regardless of the source of audio, then you've got a resource problem.
could be a buffer set too high.
i've had audio lag in youtube videos before.. but that was only with 60fps videos (and i think 720p wasn't affected, but i don't remember).
most people don't have any access to the buffer size, thus if it has been changed by you - try changing it again.
if it wasn't changed by you, then perhaps you could do a system scan that repairs|replaces broken operating system files?
otherwise you'd probably need to reinstall the operating system if a driver reinstall doesn't fix it.

i've never-ever heard of using the 'power saving' mode & lagging audio before.
makes me think there's something else going on.
