Sound problem serious

I have a custom built pc with an asus psk motherboard, I'm using the built in sound card in that for my sound. When i had vista i installed all the drivers etc and my sound still didnt work it said my sound driver was a realtek hd sound driver which was a problem because my speakers and headphones wouldnt work because they werent hd. However when i pluged my pc via hdmi into my pc the sound worked through the tv. I remeber i installed normal drivers before then it worked through my speakers etc however now i have updated to windows 7 i am having the same problem and I cannot get the drivers to work please please help ive spent hours already trying to fix this!

Download the latest realtek sound drivers from their website and try those!
