Hello :)

Whenever I use the Sound Recorder for microphones or for instruments hooked to my computer, the record works fine, but when it plays back it sounds wrong. There are jumps, pitch changes, and scratches/static sounds. I know its not my mic, I have 4 differn't ones I've used. And its none of my instruments. Not all of my instruments and mics could have gone bad. Can you please help me?

It is a Window's 7, but an Acer Laptop.

Did you turn all of the enhancements off, that's the first thing I would try.

ControlPanel / Sound select "Speakers" and then the "Properties" button at the lower right.

Select the "Enhancements" tab. First click the checkbox that says "immediate mode".

Then select Disable All Sound Effects.
