So I have a strange issue where software will perform fine without any issues; the sound works fine and there's no issues whatsoever with that. However when I look at my Volume Mixer, it shows the program as normal but no activity in sound. So when sound is actually playing, the green meter doesn't react. This has also made sound impossible to stream or record (such as when trying to screen record a game with Fraps for example because it can't detect the sound). I've made sure the sound card I'm using is set to default and all others are disabled (such as the onboard one) and that everything is setup properly (otherwise I wouldn't be able to hear it!)
Sound card is an ASUS Xonar DX and I'm running Windows 8.1 (I couldn't sign up to Eight Forums for some reason, just kept redirecting me to the login page). Any help is appreciated!
