Hello fine people I am in need of help.

I have a problem regarding the default Windows 7 partition editor (Start->Computer->Manage->Disk Management). Yesterday, I tried to take 10GB off of my [C Drive] with that program, but it froze. So I force quit it, and I subsequently found out, to my horror, that that 10GB had disappeared! My [C Drive], which used to be 220GB, is now 210GB, and there is no [Unallocated Space] or anything to make up for the lost 10GB.

How can I recover it?? Thanks for the help.

Can you post a picture of your Disk Management screen, showing the problem?

You might have to use a third party tool to resolve this, such as Partition Wizard.
