Spotify must take up a HUGE ammount of resources on Windows 7 for some reason, either that or it is completely incompatible. The program opens (after about a minute or so) but do something intensive and the system slows to a snails pace before, eventually, blue screening. I think the message was a 'kernel overload'.

Now, this is nothing to do with my sound drivers, as Windows Media Player is fine. It is only Spotify that causes this, curiously.

Spotify does use p2p technology which can often overload network adaptors. Could possibility be that. Try and see if there is an update for your network driver.

Zigzag and co (Zigzag PM'd me) I just realised...I am using Windows 7's default drivers for my card...that could be it! It could need the official release!

I'll go and try that, and if nothing happens, I'll let you know. It's an Intel Wireless 4965 card.

You could always try the latest Vista drivers from Intel if there aren't any Windows 7 ones.
