Once SpyHunter Uninstall window appears, it will ask you if you’re sure you wish to remove SpyHunter. Click Yes to start the uninstallation process. This will start the uninstallation process.

Spyhunter

Don't know much about Spyhunter.

When I see a program that still appears to run after using the programs built in uninstaller or add/ remove programs or a third party software removal utility what I usually do is:

Reinstall it to get a clean copy to remove.

Reboot.

Stop the program from running. Sometimes by right clicking the icon in the notification area and clicking "Exit". Sometimes by checking running processes. Sometimes by disabling it's startup entry and rebooting.

Check to see if it installed a service. If the service is running - disable it.

Then try uninstalling it again.

Yes. explorer.exe is nothing to do with browsers. It's "Windows Explorer"

On another note: If there's still no luck the next step will be:

Start > Run type

services.msc

Press Enter.

From the menu bar choose Action > Export List

Save the file to your desktop with the file name services.txt and attach it to your next post.

Need to see a list of all installed services

Try saving it like this.
Ok, but what am I supposed to save. The spyhunter file is no where.

Save the entire list of services. Don't bother if you don't see anything related to spyhunter in the list. Not sure what you mean by "the spyhunter file".

Perhaps it's time for another member to offer assistance?
