Hey all
I have recently bought a new SSD (replacing the main HDD) and, as you do, have been tinkering.
I read that for best performance it should be set to AHCI, so I followed this with no issues:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/61869-ahci-enable-windows-7-vista.html
However, when I went into the bios I realised that the M2N68-AM Plus does not support AHCI.
Slight panic, but the PC booted fine (huzzah!).
So my questions are - leaving the registry with the settings as 0, will that cause any issues in the future? I read in one forum that a user did this and then 6 days later it went to poos.
If the answer to that is "no", will it in fact improve anything at all?
thanks
