SSDs and Reliability Monitor

I think it may be better to ask this question here.
I recently upgraded the firmware (as reqd) on the Crucial M4 128GB and it went fine. Transferred the OS using Paragon Migrate OS to SSD. It also was straightforward. Except:
My Reliability Monitor doesn't appear to update. I know one of the SSD tweaks is to disable the Reliability Monitor and thought maybe the Paragon software did this. BUT the RacTask appears enabled.

So can I ask
1) Those using an SSD is your Reliability Monitor working like it did with your spinner?
2) Those who have used the Paragon product, is your Reliability monitor working as usual?

Re question 1, yep:

But tell me more about the tweak recommending it be turned off. Never heard of that tweak.

I think the "benefit" has to do with saving storage that Reliability Monitor uses. It may have some benefit on a small SSD but for my 128GB I want the thing enabled AND working.

Do you know if RM was running at any point after installing the SSD? I'm wondering if the firmware change had anything to do with it?

You'd think the storage space involved with RM would be miniscule.

I'm not sure what services need to be running for RM to run.

Upgrading the firmware to 0309 was the first thing I did after buying the Crucial M4. It's considered an essential upgrade if you want to use the SSD after 5000 hours of use!

In terms of storage space people talk about a couple GB per year. This is just what I read. I think you need the Reliability monitor and I'm sure you could wipe it from time to time if storage was an issue.

I just ran SSD Life and found that I have written 1331 GB to my SSD in about 273 days. That is under 5 GB per day.

In view of that, I'm not going to get particularly excited about tweaks designed to reduce writes. As I understand it, current generation SSDs are rated for much heavier use than I am doing.

- have you noticed a problem with the Reliability Monitor
and especially
- problems using the migrate product after the latest Crucial M4 firware release

My reliability monitor is working fine. I have the m4 and have performed all of the firmware updates, but I have never used Paragon = data point.
