I just built a new pc and put windows 7 64 bit on it. I installed Stalker Clear Sky and when I click to play it I get a pop up saying "Insufficient privileges: you must be administrator when you run this application for the first time. I am the only user, which is set as an administrator. I right clicked on the icon and clicked Run as Administrator. Still no luck. Anyone have a clue because this is absurd.

Alright, try holding shift, and right clicking the icon, then select run as other user, and type your name and password. Check if that works.

This is exactly the same problem for me, tried running in XP SP3 etc but will try the right click idea now

Edit: Right, having spent most of this evening trying to get this to work, it would appears that win 7 blocks the drivers of the DRM software (Tages in this case). To reactivate the drivers you must download them from the website (win7 prompts will guide you there). Havnt quite got that far myself due to windows claiming it may affect startup...anyone shed light on this?

A wee bit late, but... patch it to 1.5.10 and it's gonna be OK.
