standard account rdp?

does anybody know if its possible to client rdp to a standard account, i have set an account up for my girlfriend but it wont rdp saying the account does not have sufficent privaledges but if i change her account to admin it works fine? i dont fancy giving her an admin account incase she effs it up can anybody help

yes but you will need to add the account to the Remote Desktop users group.

There are a few ways. If you go to My Computer Properties > Remote there will be a place to add the user to allowed Remote Desktop. This will automatically add her to the Remote Desktop user group.

Or you could go into Computer Management -> Local Users and edit it there.

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.
