On start up I randomly receive a message 'Could not connect to The System Events Notification Service'. Please see the attachment.

If I leave the machine for a time it will start up.

Any ideas how to get rid of this message will be greatly received.

If that doesn't solve it, then you may have something interfering with the service.

Do you remember when this started and any and all changes you made to your computer since it happened? Like installation of any programs or drivers?

I agree F22 Simpilot, that MAY be the issue. You're up early in Colorado!
Can't rule out virus either!
Haven't suggested last known good configuration, running Malwarebytes, sfc /scannow or Windows Repair Tool YET!
I was waiting for OP's response to my post!

Thank you Snick & Simpilot for such a quick response.

I am away from the particular machine until Saturday morning but I will let you know the outcome of applying your suggestions.

As a point of interest I am in the UK, whereas you gentlemen are in the USA. That's what I call international cooperation. :D

Thanks again.
