Hey I've read around a lot trying to fix my problem tried to do a clean start up and still freezes. I've tried to restore it to previous settings and still having problems. Sometimes it freezes when i'm logging on and if i make it past that then it usually freezes within the next 1-3 minutes.

Computer
Processor - Intel i7-260 3.4 ghz
Ram - 8GB
64 bit Windows 7

Let me know if you guys need anything else... I really would like to avoid having to completely erasing my Hard Drive.
I honestly don't think I've made any changes recently to cause this..

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Do you have a graphics card? If so what is it?

Paul.

It could be so many things, we need to gather a bit more information.

So the PC was working just fine before? When did it start happening? Think back, did you make any changes to the system just before it started happening like any new software installed or updates to anything?

It could just be a driver issue but it could be a hardware fault.

Paul.

I believe once in a blue moon it would freeze but starting about 3 days ago thats all it will do there is literally nothing i can accomplish without it freezing. in the past 3 days i really can not think of one thing i changed thats what is confusing me can this be a result of a virus? I have used "advanced system care" free version and it hasn't found anything in relationship or fixed it.

Would you please fill out your system specs. It can be done from User CP at the top of this page or clcik my system specs at the bottom left of your last post and select edit system specs, and save when finished. For an example of what we need, look at my system specs at the bottom of this post. Also, what anti virus are you running and what utility programs do you have installed.

Updated Drivers?

I assume that means that no errors are indicated in the "Device Manager"?
Have you tried updating ALL of your drivers?
