Please Help!!!
Yesterday, my laptop battery was dead and I plugged it in to charge and started it up. Upon Startup the cord fell out and died. When I plugged back in and restarted, it recommended me to use "startup repair" or Start windows normally. I chose start up repair and now it says start up repair cannot be used to fix problems and the details suggest the Version of Startup Repair is not consistent. I have tried Chkdsk and this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139576-startup-repair-infinite-loop-recovery.html
to no avail. I tried System restore points and the restore notice "retrieving files" justs runs and runs forr hours so it does not seems to be working. Does anyone have a suggestion. I would like to extract my data if at all possible. I am not technically minded so any suggestions would be SO appreciatiated.
Thanks
TYA
