Hey guys,
Yesterday I brought a new modem/router, the Billion 7800N. I hooked it up and everything worked perfectly once setup. I turned my computer off and went out but when I came home and turned it on, it just sat at "Loading Windows".
I've tried all the Startup Repair options, I used Startup Repair, System Restore, Command Prompt, but none of those fixed the problem. Looking like my last resort I went with a format and fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Everything went very smooth, so I installed the necessary drivers and basic programs and restarted the computer so that I can make an .img of C: drive. Well the computers starting up, gets to "Loading Windows" and just sits there, just like before.
How can this happen again with basically nothing installed?
Could the Billion modem/router be affecting my computer, causing this error?
