That's what was reported in your Startup Repair output.

You've posted in someone else's thread so please start your own thread as this is not allowed.

ok first thing i was able to do was step 6 (all other steps are out of the way atm)

ran startup repair 3x and nothing.

Next- I tried a system restore from HD--- "finished" system restore completed successfully. the system has been restored to 9/15/2012 6:12:42 am. click restart button to restart the computer." *restarts* gets to windows flashes a blue screen so fast i cant see then restarts back to startup repair.

booting from cd-running startup repair. "startup repaircan try to restore your computer to an earlier setting where it worked properly" *attempting* not able to fix. now I will hit system restore and hope it does something. "successful restore" restarted and......blue screen after the windows logo.

Going to run an sfc scan from hd and cd.

By the way greg where do you surf? I am originally from CA, but stationed in NC.

All over the world.

If restore fails again, try repairing System files next.

It did fail, I am now going to run an sfc scan from the cd

You may need to run it repeatedly. See if you can get into Safe Mode then. I would also disinfect with the first few steps even though you think you know what caused this. You may have already been infected.

ok, I will try to run norton from startup as my secondary laptop's cd drive sucks and doesnt burn nor read anymore.
worst case scenario i have to wait till tomorrow to go to my buddies house.

NEW* I slapped in the norton cd, booted from hd and its got a built in recovery... I am retarded

I am gonna let it run the scan and I will update the results in the morning. cant believe I forgot about my Norton CD... >.<

Please use the best tools linked in tutorial. Norton is not recommended here by anyone. It is considered bloatware. Use WDO from disk, or Malwarebytes as soon as you boot into Win7 or Safe Mode.

If it works and I can get to safe mode I will run more scans with mbam and mse but under current constraints this is what I have got.

What kind of Recovery is this you found on your HD? Was it created by Norton or a Factory Recovery partition which came with preinstalled Windows 7?

It's a norton startup disc I had layin around

Is there an image stored somewhere that you can reapply with the booted disk? How else would you recover using Norton?
