Steelseries 3h USB - Windows 7 issues.

Hi,

As the topic says I've just received my Steelseries 3H USB headset. Unfortunately, since I installed the driver, I can't keep using it without getting disconnected after a few minutes. On google, I've found this link FAQ - SteelSeries - Does your software support windows 7? concerning running the software in a Windows compatibility mode but when I try to do it,it's grayed out. Does anyone may have a fix to this? I've tried all USB port, some last longer but in the end I still get disconnected which is very frustration ( should had chosen the 3.5mm instead). Currently running Windows 7 64 bits.

I guess no one has an answer for this, I'm still waiting for an answer from Steelseries, although I'm gonna try to return it tommorow as its useless for me.

sorry to hear that. I never heard steel series have compatibility issues with windows 7, maybe you should try 32 bit.
by the way, I saw your background picture with the Ferris wheel, it's so cool. could you send it to me ? thank you .

Problem

Did you find a solution to this problem? Today I bought the same headset. My pc says that it doesn't recognize the usb device. When I want to install the driver, it asks to plug the headset in, but it already is plugged in.
