Solved sticky notes

Somehow I have changed the display on my desktop, which has resulted in sticky notes having default colour borders, but with white box inside.
How do I "undo" this to make sticky notes solid colours again?

(also border around desktop has changed colour but I can live with that)

figured it out...........had to revert to windows 7 default aero theme, but I dislike the windows 7 logo.......any suggestions?
