Strange blue screen event

had just been using rockmelt browser(chromium) and the system screens went blank and the monitors reset but the aero was disabled so i re enabled aero and that's when it blue screened some kernel fault it said ,i thought the dump file was created so i turned of computer off i rebooted got passed the POST and all seemed ok with the ram and drives then the screens when blank and constant rapid beeping from motherboard speaker so i turned off pc. booted back up into safe mode looked for the memory dumps for the blue screen event but it does not seem to have recorded it rebooted from exit key POST was fine when windows tried to boot same rapid beeping from motherboard. turned off pc unplugged mains lead pressed power button let the pc rest while i made a cuppa. re plugged mains lead started pc up and went into POST ok and booted into windows ok. im now trying to trace events in event viewer and trying to find the dump files at this present time pc seems to be ok i ran a system report but nothing out of the ordinary. will update ASAP if i find anything.

a bit of a update after re-booting i got the same beeping after POST so on investigation of my hard drives in bios i disabled the other drives i have in the bios to boot so i only have the one drive with windows 7 and my optical drive(the others do not contain any operating systems) on to boot now and on several restarts all seems to be ok now

after searching for reasons why i had a blue sceen and not able to see a memory dump for this event i studied events viewer for alerts around the time it occured it pinpoints to the rockmelt browser (chromium) faulting the aero settings to work and when i re-started aero an exemption occured with the proccesor.

The beeping you heard usually indicates a graphics card or memory problem. Make sure yours are well seated.

  Strip down your system to run only the bare essentials: one RAM module, the CPU, motherboard, one hard disk, one graphics card (or use onboard graphics if you have it), keyboard, mouse, and one monitor. See how the system behaves by running Windows for twice as long as it typically takes for you to get a crash. If it is stable, add one piece of hardware back at a time until you get crashes again. Take notes of what hardware you add and how the system responds to the hardware changes.
  
  As you add and remove hardware, follow these steps for ESD safety:
  1. Shut down and turn off your computer.
  2. Unplug all power supplies to the computer (AC Power then battery for laptops, AC power for desktops)
  3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to close the circuit and ensure all power drains from components.
  4. Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working.
  Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.

after i removed the other drives from the boot list in the bios everything is ok. before it would get past the post stage then start beeping. i have checked card and memory also. and i have checked all connectors from the psu/motherboard etc. i just put in a new psu last Friday. i see on the forums for AMD some guys have experienced windows aero problems and blue screening with the ccc software which on the last update they fixed. fingers crossed im ok with the machine.

thanks for your input its all noted with gratitude the only thing that bugs me is there was no blue screen memory dump. i see at the bottom of the blue screen details when it appeared that it was making the report my fault if i shut down the machine to early
