Hi everyone,

I'm using proprietary piece of software to export an EXCEL spreadsheet from IE. When I click the "Export to XLS" button I get a "do you want to save this file or find a program online to open it" the extension I get is a .DO extension. Should be XLS.

Works fine on my other systems, it's just this one Windows 7 system that gives me this .DO file. If I manually change the extension to a .xls - it opens fine in Excel obviously.

Any ideas why IE is spitting out this random and strange extension?

Thanks in advance

I found this on Google. With a mind as shallow as mine it didn't answer any questions. Perhaps you can understand it better than I can.
