Strange problem and sfc /scannow also not able to solve it.

i am having some strange problems with my pc going on lately i am not able to open wmp then i downloaded feed demon and opened it , it was working properly but when i click on a site it tells me to download small html files for each and every site which is very annoying and i cannot view that site in feed demon itself i have to view it in my default browser.So for me feed demon is of no use.

i also found that my pc has some issues with jscript.dll.i don't know how i found that error but some software showed that jscript.dll was having error .So i used sfc /scannow command and it told that it cannot repair some stuff as shown in the image attached.

i have also tried to repair using installation disc but it repairs only boot problems.i don't have any system restore points.

System Restore to a point before the problem started.

Are you sure you don't have any system restore points? Those are usually store automatically.

I don't have it all as it was off and i don't know when probe started as i discovered it now .

Put your installation DVD in and try a repair install.

As i mentioned i tried using installation disc but of no use it repairs boot sector and in my case there no problem in boot sector.If There's other way to repair can you elaborate please.

You were running Startup Repair which is booted to repair Win7 boot when it won't start, not a Repair Install which is run from the desktop since Vista.

If you have SP1 you'll need a WIn7 installer with SP1 (not slipstreamed) or you'll have to uninstall SP1 to run the Repair Install: uninstall Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

If Repair Install cannot repair your issues, you may need to consider clean Reinstalling Windows 7

Ok thanx for explaining me .I have sp1 but my installation disc is without it .I have sp1 offline installer with me .So can i uninstall sp1 and then repair my pc and again reinstall it??

Yes, if SP1 will uninstall you should be able to Repair Install.

You should always keep your files backed up. Most modern tech-smart people keep an image backup too, especially since it's built into Win7: Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

That said, I have never seen a case of a Repair Install failing with file loss. Even if Win7 becomes unbootable, the files are almost always recoverable. But back them up regularly anyway.

Personally, I would try doing a repair-install and then re-apply SP1.

I have solved problem without uninstalling sp1 or reinstall or format

I unistalled ie9 which had some issues with jscript.dll and i reverted back to ie8 which has solved my pc probe.i am not able to figure out why this happened and such thing shouldn't happen.
