Stupid Blu-Ray.

Windows does not currently have any licensing rights to play encrypted Blu-ray media. So a third-party decoder is a must. Me...I just use AnyDVD HD and strip away all copy protection.... >.>

I consider it under fair use. I'm not sharing this media away. I'm just telling Windows there is no copy protection so play it. My computer doesn't have all the required infrastructure to play copy protected blu-ray media. AKA., I don't have HDCP support.

Developing these technologies costs a lot of money. I have no problem at all paying for software, movies, music, hardware. I do have a problem with people taking technology, pretending it's theirs, sharing it, and causing me to pay more as a result.

Yea, they could've deloped their own technology right? Wait, they couldnt cause we've been ripping them off for centuries... Dont you think its payback time? I think we should give them all of "our" technologies. That way we can repay some of our killing, plundering and stealing there.

Back on topic I also revieved a bluray player, and since it was OEM it didn't come with software to play bluray so I have been using Power dvd 9 Ultimate with no problems. I also use anydvdhd that I paid for. Mostly since it allows me to skip the coming attractions and go striaght to the movie. I didn't have to buy a Monster cable (way over priced.)

That is one of the most incorrect statements I have seen online in a long time. Once does not need a Monster Cable. One need a proper cable. Check out the specs and buy from Newegg.

What he is saying is Monster cable is overpriced and less expensive cables will work just as well.
