Dear Sevenforums,

Recently a BSOD suddenly occured. I do not remember what I was doing when it came, but I think I was doing some word in Microsoft Word.

Error Code: 0x0000009f - DRIVER-POWER-STATE-FAILURE.

I just ran a memtest86+ test with 4 passes with both ram blocks installed - no errors shown. So I do not believe that it has something to do with the RAM's.

Will somebody dedicate some time to look into this issue?

Thank you in advance!

Dear Thedoctor44,

I tried to enable Verifier.exe. Upon restart the computer crashed before I even had the chance to reach the Windows login screen.

I have attached the crashdump.
It should be noted that I run Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro - I don't know if that makes any difference in investigating what causes the crash.

I hope to hear from you.

Kind regards,

I can't say I'm that familiar with how macs work but I can tell you the Hal driver for your Mac which is sued for windows is very outdated. Are you using boot camp to use windows? If so I suggest visiting this website and download the latest windows drivers for boot camp.
