suttering sound from xps 1530

hi guys this is my first post...its more or less like a request from all you guys..


i hve a xps 1530 and there is a issue with it..it is about the suttering sound caused by the dpc latency..when you turn off the sleep option in lid close option,play any media and close the lid and open it...it causes a sort of distortion...

i have tried to explain the same to dell technical support but they say that this is the first time they have heard about this..would request all the xps 1530 users to try this is you are also facing the same issue..would request you to post it in the dell forum with the service tag and let them know that it is not only me who is complaing about this..
i know this is a wrong place for me to put this post but i no other go as i would require your help with this...

well this is not only with windows 7, it is with all OS...it is os independent..even if a clean install is done or a upgrade...:cry:

i spoke to dell about this and they claim its a architecture problem the way the system is built and they are not ready to service it nor are they ready to replace the system..they want to wait till their product group research on this and get back with a solution...this problem is been in the 1530's since it was launched back 2 years and now they are trying to check for a solution...this is not only the model which is affected there are lot of other dell system..which include studio 15,studio xps 1640 and studio xps 1340...i do not why are they selling defective systems when they know that there is a problem in the computer...

well the issue was escalated to them and the only reply i got from that no parts replacement would work and nor are they ready to give me a different system which does not have this issue..seriosly i made a mistake in buying a dell system..:cry:.

I got the part replacement for same issue

My speaker was shuttering
Tech support asked me to install new audio driver and update BIOS thats lame.

Well that didnt worked as expected they sent me a next day replacement.
Well it worked for a day and now I am back with the same issue.
So dear friend even after replacement same issue resurfaced, so it is indeed defective.:mad:

I have several Dell notebooks and I don't have that issue. (See my system specs). I have worked on numerous Dell computers and they have been very reliable and rarely have problems. Good luck to you sir.

well i have nothing against the company it the product and the support which irritates..i own 4 dell systems..2 studio 1535, I1525 and the dell 1525..the only ones which are defective is the xps 1530 and they are not ready to acknowledge the defect in the system and fix it..and I1525 does not have any issues related to dpc latency.The system which are affected by dpc are the studio 15,studio xps 16 and 13 and the xps 1530...
