Suuper fast installation

I installed today Windos 7 x64 (I was using x86 because I didn't have my internet drivers for x64) and the instalattion was super fast. I never seen anything like this. From booting from the DVD to the end, when it's ready to use, was 22 minutes and 40 seconds.
The installation was this fast to everyone too?

Yes, that has been the average; I've probably installed different builds of Windows 7 at least a dozen times, always in twenty minutes or so. Pretty good, eh?

Install Win7,Vista or XP from USB and then you'll be below 20 minutes...

I have a fully automated XP cd, I don't know the total time of installation but I think is something like 30/35 minutes.

It will be faster than that if you spend more time tweaking it and taking out unneeded things.

Well, that's what happens when you remove things like Windows Live from the install.

Seems to work much faster when you install while in Windows.
