System image restore

Hi
Did a system image backup onto DVDs. I had 3 partitions on my HD C:windows, Data, and a linux partition. What am I going to see when I restore it. Have to because my MBR is messed up from installing GRUB onto MBR when installing Linux.
I guess my next question is how do I fix my mbr without going the image restore route?
