I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit about a week ago. Since then I have been having a problem with System Interrupts. It seems after my computer has been on for about a half hour or so (sometimes less sometimes more) It starts to slow down. When I go into Task Manager it shows nothing using more than 1-2 percent CPU but when I open the Resource Monitor it shows the CPU is hovering at 40-50%. The "Image" using all the CPU is called System Interrupts and the descrition is Deferred Procedure Calls and Interrupts Service Routines. There are no available options except search online and I tried that with no luck.

I dont know a ton about computers but I thought that System Interrupts was a program requesting processor access from another program. Im probably completely wrong.

What can I do to fix this? I got a Uniblue RegistryBooster from Microsoft approved software thinking it may be registry issue and have ran it several times without it working.

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Update all your drivers with the guide in my sig, and how is your RAM configured? Take out one stick and leave one in.

Have been trying to find the right drivers but not having a ton of luck with my chipset and realtek audio. I ran a test and it shows that my realtek audio is not working corectly. I am trying to find the right software right now.
