I have a gateway m460 windows xp professional sp3. The gateway keep rebooting itself when you connect to he network either by wireless or network. As soon as I turn on the wireless card the system reboots itself.

Reinstall the wireless card. Check the connection carefully for shorts.

Report back results.

Sorry about not giving you all the info. This is a laptop. As soon as I connect to a my wireless (Cisco router) signal or connect the network cable RJ45 to the laptop the system reboots it self like it is in a reboot loop. I have restored the system 3 times to see if this would fix the problem. But it keep doing the same thing again and again. I have even uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. But the problems is still there.

Try reinstalling the wireless driver in Device Manager, by uninstalling it and then rebooting which will reinstall it automatically.

Next try updating the wireless driver. Uninstall the wireless driver in Control Panel>Programs and Features. Plug in by ethernet cable and connect to the web. Run all IMportant and Optional Windows Updates after enabling Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3).

If after several reboots the driver isn't provided, import it from the PC maker's Support Downloads webpage. Driver Install - Device Manager

If that fails and this is the corrupt factory preinstalled Win7 with all of the bloatware which smothers Win7, consider getting a superior Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
