Hello Folks,
I am in need of urgent help here.... I had Windows Vista and Windows 7 - Dual boot - on my HP laptop.
I removed Vista from the boot options using msconfig and then removed it from boot loader using EASYBCD. I then formatted the windows vista partition and restarted the system.
When i did that i got a boot error.
So i tried reloading Windows 7, however when i try that i get the following error: "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup logfiles for more information."
The options that i get on the screen, while installing windows 7, are:
Name Total Size Free Space Type
Disk 0 Partition 1: unallocated 7MB 4MB Primary
Disk 0 Partition 2 58GB 58GB Logical
Disk 0 Partition 3 57.4GB 57.4GB Logical
Similarly, there are 3 more logical partitions.
Any help would be appreciated...
Regards..
