Hello guys, i stared installing the System Readiness Update and it was almost done but got stuck for about 20 minutes, and then i click cancelled and because i didnt have pateints i went to task manager and closed it from there, now when i open it, it starts off normal and says.

Initializing installation... done!
Installing Hotfix for Windows (KB947821) (update 1 of 1)...

But literally the bar is not moving at all for almost 20 minutes now.

The log is in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log...;)

It says access denied, when i click on the txt file.

Try a copy/paste in your documents. Does the one above (CheckSUR.log) also does denied access?

The files got deleted, so im doing the SURT again, the only reason why im doing this is because when i try to update winows i get the error, 80070002, do you think you can help i tried almost everything.

Have you tried to check Date & Time => Internet Time, in control panel?

Also run a SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker command just in case.

See also how to repair the "SoftwareDistribution" temp folder by deleting it.

Windows Update error 80070002

Fix-it solution:Windows Update error "0x80070002" or "0x80070003"

What do i do on the internet time thing its on "time-a.nist.gov" And i Clicked Update. Im going to try the other things you posted now.

Edit: I did everything those pages said, no success.

EDIT: Even the SFC Scan, nothing came up.

There don't appear to be any other significant problems in the CBS.log and the CBSPersist file is too big for me to open in a decent reader :(

...however, that's from the first run of SFC that you did - the second is error-free.

There don't appear to be any other significant problems in the CBS.log and the CBSPersist file is too big for me to open in a decent reader :(

You didn't post the windowsupdate.log file?

Where can i find the Windowsupdate.log file?

this seems to be the critical error from the sfc data....
