Hallo!
Despite running Reimage's PC Repair Online Version 1.8.9.1 immediately prior to attempting to make a rescue disc I consistently get the error message displayed in the attached Snipping Tool screenshot.
Which parameter? More importantly, can I the user correct the fault?
The reason for backing-up the Files and Folders and the system image (both of which were successfully completed) is that the Windows 7 installation on my computer might euphemistically be described as 'incomplete'. The computer vendor, who is a close friend, was being economically kind to me when he supplied in 2007 the HP Compaq PC (See 'System Specs') with 'Windows ??' installed. The operating system has many deficiencies, including no 'Trusted Installer' as a default user/owner.
I have since purchased an In-a-box, On-a-disc, With-authorization-code version of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with the intention of having a 'complete' Windows 7 installation before attempting an upgrade to Windows 10. I have Microsoft Windows 10 Pro In-a-box On-a-USB-thumbdrive ready to install.
