gezzzzzzzzzzzz louise... this shouldnt be so difficult... i guess when i get this up and running again from the image... hopefully... i should think about or you can suggest a way to save the image a easier way for easier access next... if needed....

Ok:
Open Disk Management (the one you took a Screenshot of)
Right Click your C drive
Click "Shrink Volume"
Under "Shrink by" put 122880 (thats 120GB in MB, to give it a bit of "breathing room")
Click next, when its done, it will say "unallocated space 119GB (it seems to lose 1GB normally, I dont know why)
RIght Click the Unallocated Space and Click "New Simple Volume"
go through the wizard.
MAKE SURE YOU DO IT ON YOUR C DRIVE!
Eh voila. 1 Partition.
Please post back a screenie of Disk Management when your done.

ok its done now going threw the wizard its defaulting to a " new drive letter E" or should i select one of the other options?

Absolutely right UNPLUG THE EXTERNAL HDD FIRST!
Boot your Windows disk (or recovery partition or whatever)
click Repair My Computer
then "Restore from a system image"
HOPEFULLY Windows will find the Image, if it doesn't click "select the image manually"
