Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Opened sys restore and noticed that the only restore points available are those created at times program uninstalls and Windows critical updates. No other points listed.
Went into task scheduler and checked all the settings. Set for daily creation of restore points and it is enabled. All other settings are good.
I did a manual restore point creation and it appears on the list of available restore points.
Just don't know what else to do for scheduled restore points to work properly.
Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. I just now set it and will let you know the outcome.
Mine was at 5% and correlated to 5.4GB. That's an awful lot of space taken to possibly cause restore points to not be set!
Again, thank you.
CCleaner will allow you to view you restore points.
CCleaner will allow you to delete restore points.
One of the ways of regaining some of the space used by restore points is to delete restore points that only you can say whether you will ever need them.
