Solved System Restore question (hopefully simple)

System Protection and Create Restore Point VBscript

The System Protection is set under the Control Panel > System > System Protection link I suspect that this is already set for 'On' for your "C drive"...

I am attaching a script written in VB script that you can double click to run... or
right click and 'Open in Command Prompt'... or try to get it to run from the Task Scheduler on a regular basis >>> "Create Task" blah blah blah... Set the Trigger,
Action, and Conditions to your liking.

Opening "System Restore" and examining all the restore points will verify that the new restore point named "Install" has been created at the time stamp that you created the restore point.

I'm still not sure why your system is not creating restore points after installing or removing programs...

There thousands of people in the same boat. Google it and you will see. Its MS problem. My task scheduler does not work either. that's another issue with wide spread issues. All the fixes I have tried didn't work.

thx for the script but i'll pass for now. I'm determined to get to work the correct way in Windows.
