System Restore Question

Hello,

As I mentioned in a previous Post, I had to use System Restore to "normalize" everything again, after downloading AVG Free.

Surprising how well it worked.

Question: I looked on the screens for System Restore, but can't seem to locate it.

Is there an option, somewhere, to set how often it automatically creates
these points ?

If so, where, please ?

What's a good rule of thumb as to how often ?

You do not need to create a new task in Task Scheduler, but merely change the SR task already set for once a week.

Bear foot kid has made a tutorial to address an automatic system restore point at start up, its very simple each time your pc starts you can click yes or no to create a restore point. tutorial here

I am paranoid. I don't trust Windows to make a Restore Point each week as it should. I have my Outlook set to remind me once a week to "Create a Restore Point". I then manually create one.
