Hi guys,

So I recently decided to spring clean (yes, in October) my PC, hardware and software. I've cleaned out all its innards and it's sparkly clean.

However when it comes to maintenance, I'm not really knowledgeable.

I was thinking of just installing a fresh copy of windows but this would be far too much hassle, as moving my files and reinstalling everything would sap my already rare free-time.

What can I do to spruce up my PC? Would the windows standard DeFrag really make that much of a difference?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

IMHO all you really need are 3 programs:

1.CCleaner
2.Auslogics Free Defrag
3.Malwarebytes

I assume by "disable everything" you mean untick things I don't want :P There's more than just my AV on that list that I need at startup. Although I appreciate you telling me this, I didn't know about it.

@ Roban: I now have all 3, thank you very much.
