I m getting the same problem , task bar color not changing as aero effetcs are not working

I tried to fix it as advised in the forum . . .but not working

request somebody to help me sort out this pbm

If you just want your original theme back, Type Change Color Scheme in start menu search, open that and change it back to Windows 7 Basic.

You don't have aero on starter.

If you just want your original theme back, Type Change Color Scheme in start menu search, open that and change it back to Windows 7 Basic.

You don't have aero on starter.

But It does not work 100% . . . the grey shade in MS applications got changed . . . however the address bar , subject bar shades remain grey at the top . .

It does nt change along with the themes . . . Request you to help once again

What color was it before? Where did you get that theme?

Maybe it is your Porsche theme preventing your changes, Windows Starter has very limited theme options as well.

It as usual blue before . . . .

But cant change the grey tone even if i change the theme . . .

Theme should have changed the bar in to green shade, but it does not change . . .

can u help

Is the gray standard in Windows Starter? You should uninstall the theme, there are many poorly written Win 7 themes and corrupt it. It may be too that your system doesn't fully support themes.

Windows 7 basic is what you get with starter, that's why I was wondering where that theme came from, I have starter in a VM I'm playing with, I've changed the start button, but I'm curious about that theme.
