Task Scheduler not working

I can not run task scheduler pops the message "can not find the remote computer"
Help !
Ps.
I also used WWDC

If you are using WWDC, some of your windows services may be disable. In particular windows task service.

If you don't already have it download and run MBAM. Look for an infection with Virus tools. If you find anything eliminate it and check your services.

Welcome imusewindows. Do you have the Event Log service running? This needs to run as Task Scheduler depends on it.
Start>All Programs> Admin Tools>Services, scroll to Windows event log. The staus should be "running" and start up type to "automatic".

Good news? Did that make the task scheduler svc run too then? It needs to be set to automatically start as well.
