Task Scheduler

I tried to run this but giot the message that the file was corrupt or missing it was the same message as it went through all the tasks,now i cin;t think that i have added any new programs so System Restore is out.As I am 90 yrs old I would be grateful for simople instructions pleasee

Hi! I just now saw this, I'm getting ready to rush off to sub-teach at a local high school. I have had and still have a very similar problem with my Windows 7 Pro's Task Scheduler. I will be thinking of my partial solutions, would you mind posting a piece or two of the error message you get? I believe it will closely match mine. I have been using partial solutions, got the message down to just once when first opening Task Scheduler. During my breaks, I'll pull this thread up and work with you. BTW, I'm 65, so I am beginning to relate!

Hi RolandJS,Here are two screenshots of many errors,it seems all the tasks ahave the same fault.

I will be in and out of classes during the day, so this will be spotty at best.
I notice that Chromium and ccleaner are mentioned in the error messages. I do not know what task was set up for Chromium or for ccleaner, can you give me an idea what those two tasks were supposed to do?

Hi,Roland, I haven't the faintest idea what Chromium is supposed to do,Crap cleaner is what i have used for yesrs to clean up my files etc.

I think somehow the Chromium and ccleaner tasks need to be deleted. I do not know how those two get in there. I'm going into listening mode and will learn alongside of you as others who are far wiser than I in this matter enter this thread and help out.
