TaskBar Hover Over Modifications

When you hover over applications open in the taskbar, is there a way of changing the view to "list" the open applications opposed to the default view that shows a picture of each item opened for that application?

The tutorial below can help you set to use taskbar list mode instead of taskbar thumbnail previews. Step 1 in Option One would be easiest for this.
