Hi everyone. I had my new desktop with Windows 7 Home 64bit for about 2 weeks now and so far im loving it. The one and only problem im having is the volume icon in the taskbar. I know its been posted several times before (i searched) but non of the solutions fixed my problem.

Sometimes when my Windows boots up, the volume icon is missing from the taskbar. I take a look in "turn system icons on or off" and the Volume, Network and Action Center are greyed out (cant click them.) It does this once every 2 or 3 reboots. The only way to fix it is to reboot. Its not a huge problem but its very annoying having to reboot 2 times.

Any ideas or solutions for my problem?

Um, ok. Double check the items in the yellow TIP box in the tutorial to see if any of those may a issue. Also uninstall and reinstall your audio drivers to see if that may help.

Since you tried all of the usually options to fix this above, create a new adminstrator account as a test to see if it works ok in it.

I would try a repair install first to see if you can avoid a full clean install. This way you will not lose anything.

I have found the answer.
Some How the icons are hiding underneath eachother.
so grab the top of the taskbar pull it up and then move it back down and the icons will be organized in the right order again.
no fortmatting.
no Restarting.
Really Simple..
