Taskbar

New to Windows 7 and at first when I hovered over the task bar icons with my cursor it showed the window, but in miniature. Now though it just shows in font what it is, not the actual window. How did this change and how can I get it back to show the mini window of what that program is i am running? thanks

Double check using the tutorial below to make sure that it taskbar thumbnail previews is enabled. Be sure to also check the items in the red WARNING box in the tutorial as well.
