I just reinstalled Windows 7 x64 yesterday. I have been adjusting the settings in Win7 to get it like it was before, but after trying lots of things and searching Google and this site I cannot find the answer or even a reference for my problem.
If I change the power settings from Balanced to High Performance or Power Saving, or when my laptop comes out of Sleep, a large light bulb with a circular meter appears for a second or two, then disappears. The same happens with the sound icon (can't remember what I did for sound to show the large speaker icon). It is very annoying.
What do I do to prevent this large icon from appearing?
Please help!
