Hi all. I am having a problem with the sound on my PC. From the Windows sound when logging in onwards the sound is glitchy at best, and 70's robotic sounding at worst. It is like this for playing mp3 files and listening to music on the web. I have the latest Realtek HD driver installed and its still the same. I also have a Line 6 Toneport UX1 installed and have tried using that but the problem is the same. Strangely the problem tends to go after about 15 minutes after the computer has been switched on. My PC soundcard is Realtek ALC888/1200 @ ATI SB700 - High Definition Audio Controller

Any help with this would be great

thanks

I had this problem once.

I fixed it by reinstalling the video card driver and the soundcard driver.

I dunno why the rear panel sockets are shown as they are not in use...could this make any difference?
