I bought several win 7. I bought an ultimate oem, for me. wow - how long ago has that been?

Now I'm informed my win 7 is not 'legitimate.' Billy has the GALL to call someone else, for stealing...?

A lot of my progs crash under win 10 - the winhelp, the direct-x plugins... All designed to get a couple thousand bucks out of me. NO.

Get genuine page tells me to switch to 10! I'll pay, if I have to... how do I do that?

I bought brand new win 7 ultimate - in sealed box. Mickeysoft says the key is no good...

If somebody could help me out, here...?

wow. what a mess!

Windows 7 is no longer being sold, for quite a few years now. Most likely any copies you could buy right now are actually counterfeit ones built by random people out of internet trying to scam you, not legitimate copies available from Microsoft. A failed activation is pretty much sure is telling you of that fact.

You should see them (I bought 2) Schrink-wrapped... a lot of trouble to go through

Myself, I think mickeysoft is killing this OS, any way they can. And I already said why.

Hi

Sorry man you've been sold a dud......
3 things point to it

product code type 8 ...... means it, (the key) has been "lifted" from a Dell oem comp
Slic code table is also for a Dell machine, and in the wrong place
This implies that the installation disc has been Modded to include it and the windows marker version which would not have been on the Retail motherboard you have.

Im also willing to bet that your version of Office Enterprise is non-genuine

note
as this is a recent installation(<30 days) you might get lucky..... demand a refund from the vendor

It might be the bios has been modded.

I would check by booting winpe and run nir sofers firmwaretablesview. Or RWeverything . If that shows a slic table, then the solution is to flash the bios with genuine unmodded latest bios for that motherboard.

FirmwareTablesView

If the op doesnt understand how to do that check, then I suggest he flashes the bios anyway.

Hi

sorry another dud, but for a different reason

this is a MSDN key issued to developers, and not intended/allowed for resale
MS will and have identified it as such, hence the non-genuine.

These keys show as retail and as such do not require a Slic table/windows marker version

there is a further anomally, on both reports,
they show 0 rearms available, i could understand it being on the first report but not the second as its a fresh install
first report max rearms 3 second report 5

Hi

sorry another dud, but for a different reason

this is a MSDN key issued to developers, and not intended/allowed for resale
MS will and have identified it as such, hence the non-genuine.

These keys show as retail and as such do not require a Slic table/windows marker version

there is a further anomally, on both reports,
they show 0 rearms available, i could understand it being on the first report but not the second as its a fresh install
first report max rearms 3 second report 5

There is no fresh install.

Can this install be recovered? Or am I wasting my time?

install 1
Extended PID: 00426-00188-020-730316-02-1033-7601.0000-2952023

install 2
Extended PID: 00426-00212-384-303396-00-1033-7601.0000-2962023

i can read these with my eyes closed

you changed the product key a day later, Dell Slic table still there

2 duds, and yes your wasting your time

Report 1 shows a Dell OEM with a "lifted" COA product key - day 295
Report 2 shows an MSDN product key - day 296

Both reports show the comp is a Retail Motherboard
there is something really wrong with that ISO --- bin it

Didn't understand a word he said...

How 'bout a little clarification on this one: 2 duds, and yes your wasting your time ?

both reports show that the product keys in use are
1) not for your >> Retail motherboard<< but an OEM install backup key requiring, in your case, a Dell motherboard
(and the mod to make it seem genuine has failed)
2)the MSDN key is not for Resale and has been identified as such by the MS validation servers

Hence the 2 duds comment....
so both the keys are useless to you ie your wasting your time

I did say to you have you >demanded< a refund

goodbye
